Call us and tell us what you have, we love to chat! Bring your items in for a free appraisal, drop us an email or a text with some pictures, it couldn’t be easier! We can even drop by for an obligation free home visit.
You can bring your treasures in to our Launceston rooms or we can assist you with transport.
Once we’ve received your goods they will be appraised and list with each item and what we believe they’ll sell for at auction will be sent to you. If you’re happy with all of this and wish to proceed, your items will be cleaned and prepared for sale, photographed and described in our online catalogue and entered in our next auction.
We market our treasures and wonderful things in several ways. We can offer items by Private treaty, in an ‘on site’ sale, via Sealed Bid and through a timed Tender process. The type of sale we conduct most regularly are our on-line auctions whereby items on display in our George Street rooms are offered for sale via internet bidding (or by Absentee Bidding where buyers leave us a maximum amount they want to spend and we bid on their behalf up to this figure). These auctions are essentially two different types of sale within the one. In the earlier part of the sale, are quality goods and treasures such as antiques, collectables, jewellery, coins and stamps, fine furniture both antique and modern, quality Persian rugs and near new electrical items and whitegoods, and the we have our ‘rusty gold’ that may include old farm implements, wheels etc, garden ornaments, timber, motor vehicles and parts, books, toys, automotive and workshop tools, our famous bargain box lots of china, glass and other household goods as well as older appliances and various homewares. These are bargain priced wholesale items but there is no junk…..anything of little to no value goes in the bin!
